RoboRace
This is an actual race with autonomous robots. Robots are designed and built by teams of up to 3 persons. The race is built on Formula-1 principles. A robot has to finish 10 to 30 laps on the track in the shortest time, avoding other robots and staying on the track all the time. The team that will finish the race in the shortest time and will collect the largest amount of bonus points will be considered to be a winner.

de:coded Cup – a individual stage of international competition of autonomous robots RoboRace, which is organised by support of RoboRace and Photonics at Lviv Polytechnic National University.
de: coded Cup will be held in two categories: PRO and Kids. Everyone has a chance to take part in the competition. Rules are simple: max. size: 25cm x 50cm and weight less than 3 kg. Track width will be 1 or 1,2 metres.
RoboRace PRO
Category for students and fans of robotics.
This category represent robots which are collected from the electronic components. Participants will compete for a prize fund of $ 1000.
RoboRace Kids
Category for children and schoolchilds.
This category represent robots which are collected of Lego Mindstorms kits or electronic components. The prize fund will be constructors.
ParticipantsIn competitions can take teams up to 3 people including the captain (the team may include trainer). Age, national, territorial or other restrictions on participation in the championship – MISSING!The team has to represent one or more robots, and inform about it during registration.
