Algomania

Algomania is a team-based championship in algorithmic coding based on the international competition ACM ICPCRules: 3-member teams need to solve seven problems during 4 hours employing programming languages С++, Java, Pascal, C#. Every team is allowed to use only one laptop.

Participants submit answers for review on a rolling basis. Received results are checked by a computer rather than by human judges that could often be overly demanding. If the algorithm works properly, the team gets points. If there’s an error in the algorithm, the code is handed back to the team for fine-tuning and the team gets penalty points.

The team that solves the most problems and gets the least penalty points wins the championship.
